About the Role

We are currently seeking a Training Hub Team Leader to oversee operations at our new training hub in servicing internal and external customers for various training needs. The suitable candidate must have a strong passion about youth and talent development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


· Understand Training Hub strategy and take full ownership of implementation

· Design booking system and tracker to manage the scheduling of training sessions and events in the training hub

· Supervise administrative staff. Delegate daily duties to admin staff, conducting check-ins of employees to ensure staff's availability and competency to successfully complete duties

· Design and implement workplace activities that are aligned to assessment criteria of various unit standards and qualification for SETA accredited programmes

· Source and develop hub network of organisations, industry experts and entrepreneurs to support implementation of work place activities.

· Oversee and manage learner and graduate database

· Implement talent development pipeline activities for client training recruitment and internal learner recruitment.

· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant requirements, processes and procedures on all projects.

· Ensure all training hub users (clients, staff, contractors, visitors etc.) fully adhere to building rules, OHSA and escalate safety concerns at the appropriate level.

· Ensure facility, processes and documentation in constant audit readiness.

· Support monitoring activities and escalate potential risk to the internal and external clients

· Ensured that all matters emanating training hub users are captured, monitored, and resolved

· Populate monthly reports that provide insight on progress of various projects implemented in the training hub.

· Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training hub operations.

Additional Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

· Grade 12

· Relevant qualification in HR/ETDP

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervisory/team leader role

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in training/talent development environment

· People Management skills

· Experience in multi stakeholder management

· Influence, persuade and convince knowledge.

· Creative Thinking

· Computer literate (MS Office)

· Written & verbal communication skills
