About the Role

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor with experience in Temporary Employment Services (TES) available to travel to various sites in Mpumalanga & Limpopo Province.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

· Grade 12

· Relevant qualification in HR/IR/Project Management/Health & Safety

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Managerial Role

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in TES environment

· Own Transport

· People Management skills

· Experience in multi stakeholder management

· Influence, persuade and convince knowledge.

· Computer literate (MS Office)

· Written & verbal communication skills

· Structure / Rigor for management and procedure application.

· Planning & Organising skills

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Interpersonal skills

· Report Writing skills

This vacancy requires an ability to work flexible hours as per operational requirements. Be willing to work shift and be on standby.

Detailed Description

Job purpose:

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor with experience in Temporary Employment Services (TES) available to travel to various sites in Mpumalanga & Limpopo Province.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensuring the implementation of policy and strategic decisions from EXCO to meet client requirements.

· Design the site plan and is responsible for execution of the site plan. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of projects to the site for implementation.

· Ensure workers are equipped with appropriate PPE.

· Assist in co-ordinating staff on site. Managed daily on-site operations - headcount, and check-ins of employees to ensure staff's availability during working hours.

· Support payroll and employee personal administration to facilitate effective personnel management

· Oversee site administration and prepare site reports required to communicate with all project stakeholders.

· Attending site management meetings.

· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes and procedures.

· Ensure all people on your site (clients, staff, contractors, visitors etc.) fully adhere to Site Rules, OHSA and escalate safety concerns at the appropriate level.

· Develop and maintain relationships with management and supervisors and unions to resolve employee issues, concerns, and grievances on site

· Monitor IR activity escalated potential risk to the client or Operations Manager

· Ensured that all matters emanating from engagement forums are captured, monitored, and resolved

· Ensure facility, processes and documentation in constant audit readiness.
