About the Role
Our client in the Freight Logistics is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their HR team with an emphasis of general HR operations and Labour Relations.
Relevant qualification in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations is required.
3-5yrs HR Generalist experience, preferably in the Freight Logistics, Warehouse and Logistics, Transport industry with extensive experience in Industrial Relations
Thorough knowledge of all labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, Skills Development Act).
· Valid driver’s license and own car.
· Experience in disciplinary management and performance management.
CCMA experience from conciliation through to arbitration.
Collective bargaining council experience as well.
The incumbent is required to travel across the sites.
Good communication skills.
Can work independently.

Administer special projects.
Collate information for annual / quarterly reporting.
Provide generalist support in respect of the HR Operations of the various business units.
Provide advisory services to management on IR matters.
Facilitate the management and promotion of fair and sound Labour Relations.
Curate and advise on performance management processes.
Manage and effect all internal and external disputes (inclusive of CCMA through to arbitration).
Curate and advise on collective bargaining.
